On September 19, "Brass N' Ivory" will be playing for the residents of the Shelburne Retirement Residence, helping them celebrate their 20th anniversary and the move into their new building.
We look forward to sharing the music and memories from the 1930's to the 1960's and making new friends.

Aug 30, 2009 - Canam Jazz Fest - Sarnia Ontario
Yesterday the "Jazz Rascals" played the Canam Jazz Festival in Sarnia Ontario, the gig was held at the Holiday Inn and featured several bands playing all genres of jazz. Although the band was called the "Jazz Rascals" David (Sousaphone and myself on cornet were augmented by several excellent musicians - Joe Edmonds on trombone, Andy Lusher - soprano sax, Jim Winter - piano and Johnny Bond on drums.
The hall which held 300 - 400 fans was full and our group (the only dixieland group) was enthusiastically received. All in all a great gig.
